The WSHS met on Sept. 25, 2017 with Sandy Brug, Gloria Gaslin, Thomas Chambers, Luke Bollinger, Kristie Melendez & Sue Buxmann present.

The web site is down and Sandy is working with them to get it back up.

We were saddened to hear that Caitlin’s father-in-law had passed away. Sandy will send a card from the society.

Sandy said we need to preserve all our records for the statue and give them to the town. She will put them all on a flash drive and give it to them.

All of the irrigation photos from the exhibit at the CRC were given to PHA along with their things.

We all agreed the village is very impressive and we are glad to see it back as a village. We will write down some information that we have about the buildings to keep it accurate when presented. We will get them to Caitlin by Oct. 10 and then set up a meeting to talk about it.

We all agreed the event that Colorado Life put on was something that should be done annually by the Town and WSHS. It was a big success and would have been even better if the weather would have cooperated. It was suggested to coordinate it with the anniversary of the statue.

The garage sale at the creamery needs to be put off till springJ

If we want to start a campaign for the mother the application needs to be in to the PHA by Feb of 2018. We first need to get a price from Austin.

Sue sent out 51 membership letters. We will put something on face book.

It was suggested we invest in a video camera and do some more interviews.

Respectfully submitted
