The WSHS met on June 26, 2017 at Boardwalk Park to finalize plans for the statue install with Sandy Brug, Sue Buxmann, Marge Straube, Kristie Melendez, Thomas Chambers, Hal Pearson, Eric Lucas, & Luke Bolinger.
We decided where to set up, who will bring what, and how the dedication will go.
The bricks will be done in time and the stone sign will also be done. Having the bricks done will be an incentive to sell more at the dedication after people see them.
Sandy reported Monday afternoon that the bronze plaques will be finished in time.
Safeway will donate water and cookies for the event.
The statue will be set up Tuesday morning at 7:30 am. It will take several hours.
The dedication will take place at 6:00pm on Thursday June 29, 2017
