The WSHS met on August 28, 2017 at the First Christian Church with Sandy Brug, Hal Pearson, Thomas Chambers, Gloria Gaslin, Marge Straube, Marcia Will-Clifton, Kristie Melendez, Caitlin Heusser and Sue Buxmann.
Sandy will get the total cost of the statue.
The White Gold Tour will be Sept 23. Marge will give anecdotes of her Grandmother Fritzler. This is the Colorado Life Magazine Tour. We will be there from 10am until 1pm and sell our bricks or just visit with the people. Caitlin will give a tour of the museum.
We will try to be at some Farmers Markets in Sept.
Eric Lucas will talk to the Town Board about buying our property.
AHSGR will sell our books at their meeting. Sue will get 10 books to Gloria at $20 each and give her a receipt for them.
Sue will check on the price for an organization to join our club and give that information to Gloria.
We need to redo the by-laws. Sandy and Sue will check on that. Sandy will send the by-laws to all of the members.
Sue and Sandy will start a membership drive for the rest of 2017 and 2018 and offer the bricks to them also.
It was suggested that we get a membership chairman on the board. We all agreed that we certainly need one.
We should be thinking about having a garage sale in Oct. at our building. It was suggested we simply open up the doors and let people in and donate for items.
